[sunday six] sarah’s picks

With limited time left in Australia, I asked Sarah Ellison, Senior Stylist at Real Living magazine, for six must-see home decor stores in Sydney. I’ve been fortunate to get to know Sarah while assisting her on several shoots since I’ve been here, so I knew her picks would be good. I visited each one this week and can say she’s six for six; I loved them all. Read more about Sarah (and see a pic of her with her super-cute canine) here.

1. PURE AND GENERAL. Beautiful things, like glassware, linens and a lot more, from all over the world.
2. KOSKELA. Gorgeous loft space filled with furniture and homewares by Australian artists, designers and craftspeople.

3. SPENCE & LYDA. Huge collection of Missoni home and other designer goods for all areas of the home.
4. TERRACE. Everything outdoor living with plants and garden things in happy hues.
5. DAVID MET NICOLE. Lots of cool vintage, including those globes, plus lighting and leather pieces with British flair.

6. PLANET. Australian wood furniture, ceramics and textiles with an emphasis on the sustainable.

  1. Thanks for the suggestions! I’m moving to Sydney after 10 years in the US so your shopping tips are very timely!

  2. I visited Pure & General on Friday … very nice indeed.
