time capsules

Stuff like this fascinates me to no end: the contents of recently rediscovered suitcases belonging to patients of the Willard Asylum in New York, which were put in storage between 1910 and the 1960s. Photographic documentation by Jon Crispin (via Chloe Aftel).

  1. I love seeing stuff like this too. I just love learning more about how people lived in the past. Fascinating.

  2. Oh man, me too! Isn’t it amazing how the handwriting even looks completely different from what you would see today. Letters use to have such a beauty to them.
